Face recognition
One of the additional functions of a digital video surveillance system is the possibility to automatically recognize faces and compare this information with the data base.
This function may be used in public places with an intensive flow of people, or in access points. The following functions are provided:
- viewing the video incoming from the observation cameras;
- recognizing faces from the incoming video stream;
- storing the recognized faces in an encrypted form in the data base with detailed information about the time, date, etc..;
- creating and editing data bases of faces;
- importing an image of a face in the data base;
- creating an archive of the recognized faces;
- associating a face with the full frame from the video archive;
- exporting the image of the face to a graphic file or exchange buffer;
- viewing the image of the face in a separate window.
